Position Overview
APAC TN is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of construction and paving projects from solicitation through final closeout. This role is responsible for leading multiple crews—including paving, milling, and project management teams—while upholding our core values of Safety, Integrity, and Quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent APAC TN and CRH with professionalism, consistently modeling our core values.
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations of construction, paving, and milling crews.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide oversight throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards for crew members and the public.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Oversee project budgets, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Monitor job progress and quality control through regular site visits and reporting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and general contractors.
- Support, mentor, and evaluate Asphalt Foremen and crew members to drive performance.
- Manage asphalt delivery logistics in alignment with plant capacity, traffic conditions, and jobsite access.
- Maintain accurate job costing, material tracking, and daily progress documentation.
- Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment use, and crew management.
- Collaborate across departments to support strategic development goals.
- Oversee all supervisory responsibilities including hiring, training, performance management, and succession planning.
