About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents enrolled with Apache Behavioral Health Services, Inc. As a School Coach I, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic services, facilitating group and individual sessions, and collaborating with community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective therapeutic plans to address the unique needs of each client.
- Collaborate with ABHS clinicians to provide high-quality services, including case management, counseling, and advocacy.
- Provide prevention education services to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles among youth.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with AHCCCS and ABHS standards.
- Build strong relationships with community partners, including schools, courts, and tribal organizations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working with Native Americans preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to speak the Apache language preferred.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, teams, managers, supervisors.
- MS Office proficiency and ability to correctly operate copy machine and fax.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment testing, including fingerprint clearance, drug testing, and background check.
