What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prod Ops Technician Sr - Chemical position at Apache Corporation?
Specific Responsibilities
The USON Chemical Sr for Apache Corporation will be a member of the Production Chemical department reporting to the Water Resources & Production Chemical Department Supervisor. This role will be field-based and responsible for overseeing production area chemical programs for Apache Delaware Asset’s North and West production areas located in Eddy and Lea Counties, NM, and Reeves and Loving Counties, TX. This role will indirectly report to their production operations foremen and treat them as their customer.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Support production operations by managing respective production chemical program by, at minimum, the following :
Manage daily activities of chemical company personnel to ensure effective treatmentMonitor chemical usage throughout operations to ensure correct applications and dosages are applied (i.e. corrosion / scale inhibitor, paraffin, emulsion breaker, H2S scavenger, and biocide treatments)
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience working in oil and gas production chemicals
