- Lead the daily/monthly cash forecasting process
- Track utilization of Apache’s short-term debt facilities
- Manage loans and other cash movement between Apache’s entities
- Borrow and invest funds
- Daily cash position process, which includes the following: set company’s daily cash position, initiate electronic funds transfers, and perform FX trades
- Prepare recurring Treasury reports which provide senior management with a summary of the company’s cash position, short-term debt usage, investments, and liquidity
- Perform special projects which involve interaction with the tax, planning and accounting departments
- Manage domestic and international bank accounts
- Provide journal entries to accounting
- Other ad hoc projects as determined by supervisor
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 4 years of experience
- Oil & Gas industry experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Detail oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Team player
