Overview
The Environmental Services (EVS) role is crucial in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within healthcare facilities. This position focuses on custodial duties that ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are upheld. The EVS team plays an essential part in infection prevention and control, contributing to the overall health and safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or GED preferred.
· Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
· Requires the formal training needed to have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, cleaning equipment and sanitation systems.
· Must be able to use equipment and supplies as required to ensure cleanliness.
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
ESENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the building.
· Takes steps to maintain and clean all assigned areas within the physical structure of the building, outside grounds, parking areas, casino floor space, public areas space and utility systems.
· Promotes excellent guest service.
· Understand and comply with established appearance standards.
· Understand and comply with the attendance policy of the casino.
· Performs other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 per hour
