PACKAGING LEVEL III - 1ST SHIFT

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for Packaging Level III positions to join our 1st Shift Production Team. The packer stacks the heavy mats that are coming off the conveyor onto the turnstile. Once the pallet is full, then the pallet is wrapped. The packer also oversees the placing of mat onto rollup pole plastic to ensure the roll, while then adding the label, and placing rolled mat onto conveyor to be packed out. The packer places the rolled mats either in a cardboard box or placing mats into a clear plastic bag and then stacks the bags onto a pallet.

This position is regularly scheduled for Monday- Friday, require Saturday

This position requires the ability to (this is not a complete job description):

• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, bend, stoop, twist and reach while handling material or product.
• Must be able to frequently lift heavy items of 30 to 60 lbs. on your own.
• Perform shift startups and end of shift duties as required.
• Ability to spot and remove defective mats.
• Ensure proper labeling tag positions and packaging of product.
• Change plastic on the machine, load the machine and put the information on the computer for it to print the pack SKU label.
• Fill out the production form and keep production totals accurate.
• Assisting team members in need of assistance.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• any other duties as deemed necessary by shift supervisor.
• Follow all PPE and safety rules within the plant.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance .
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
• Work cooperatively, courteously and respectfully with all team members.
• Ensure good housekeeping of all areas of your department.
• Follow all jewelry policies and hair polices according to the Apache Mills Code Of Conduct.
