We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office & Shipping Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide front desk support, perform data entry into our ERP software, and handle shipping and receiving of packages. You will play a key role in managing the flow of goods in and out of our distribution center while delivering exceptional customer service and answering phone calls. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring the accurate processing of shipments, assisting with customer inquiries, and maintaining an efficient office and logistics environment.
Duties
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Perform order picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal workflow and accessibility.
- Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goals.
- Answer phones, direct calls to the appropriate personnel, and assist with customer inquiries.
- Provide front desk support, greeting visitors and addressing general office inquiries.
- Offer exceptional customer service, resolving customer concerns and providing product, order, and delivery information.
- Manage customer communications, including responding to emails and addressing order-related issues.
