Boston Behavioral Medicine (BBM) is a vibrant collaborative behavioral health group practice located in the heart of Coolidge Corner area in Brookline, MA (“Boston area”). We consist of a rich interdisciplinary group of clinical psychologists, clinical social workers, a clinical nurse specialist, and a psychiatrist. We offer general psychotherapy services to treat a wide range of mental health conditions, as well as specialty services in the area of behavioral medicine. Our psychotherapy approach is best described as patient-centered, relational, and integrative. We utilize state of the art empirically based interventions, such as : CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, relaxation training, mindfulness-based treatment, clinical hypnosis, and biofeedback, among others.We treat individual adults, teens, children, couples, and families, offer groups, and we serve a very diverse population with regard to culture, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, and socio-economic factors. We highly value seeing patients in person, while we also provide remote services via telehealth. Our practice operates Monday to Friday 8 : 00am-8 : 00pm, and Saturdays 8 : 00am-4 : 00pm.Options for staff psychologist positions are available to join anywhere from 1 to 5 days a week. We’re a very busy practice with plenty of referrals. We offer an attractive business model that grants our group members financial independence (i.e., collect 100% reimbursement), while having ample opportunity for peer collaboration and to feel part of a team. Our staff see a combination of patients with insurance and self-pay (can provide superbill for out-of-network patients). All staff attend a weekly team meeting on Fridays 10-12, and offer 1 hour of weekly supervision to a BBM trainee. We offer a training program for psychology doctoral students, post-docs, and social work fellows. Our staff get to interact directly with our trainees through teaching and supervision. There are opportunities to teach (honorarium offered) in our training program. Expertise in health psychology / behavioral medicine is a plus, but not required.
