Pediatric Psychologist / Program Director OpportunityDivision of Pediatric Behavioral HealthDepartment of PediatricsAn exciting opportunity exists in the Division of Pediatric Behavioral Health for a licensed or license eligible pediatric psychologist to lead and grow a dynamic program in the Department of Pediatrics. National Jewish Health, located in Denver, Colorado, is widely recognized as the leading medical center dedicated to respiratory diseases in the United States. Every division is known for excellent clinical services and research.Qualified applicants must be CO licensed or license eligible psychologist (already in process of obtaining a Colorado license) and have relevant training and experience working in pediatric healthcare settings. This is both a clinical and a leadership position in an active division that includes a pediatric psychologist, a pediatric neuropsychologist, a clinical social worker, and an art therapist. The position responsibilities include : Establishing a practice to evaluate and treat children with chronic medical conditions and / or behavioral health disorders in an outpatient setting.Collaboratively designing and developing a business plan for the growth of the Division with other senior NJH leaders including care models, marketing plans, community outreach and other programmatic elements as necessary for program success.Successful candidates will hold a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited institution, have completed postdoctoral training in child and / or pediatric psychology, and have interest and / or experience in leadership.Benefits : Comprehensive Medical Coverage : Multiple Cigna health plans for Colorado, regional office and remote employees.
