California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) is seeking applicants for our Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology for the 2024-2025 training year. This one-year, full-time position offers competitive salary and benefits, meeting all California post-doctoral licensing requirements.
As part of the Department of Psychiatry, this fellowship provides advanced training in offering a wide range of psychological services to a diverse group of patients within established interdisciplinary healthcare programs. The fellowship includes specialization tracks in Psycho-Oncology and Women’s Mental Health. The Psycho-Oncology Track involves collaborating with cancer teams to support patients and families, while the Women’s Mental Health Track focuses on integrated care within obstetrics programs and treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Optional rotations in Behavioral Cardiology, Neurogastroenterology, Communication Skills Training, and Collaborative Assessment are also available.

- Completed doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship training program
- Successful completion of comprehensive exams and dissertation defense prior to start date
- Eligible for post-doctoral registration as a psychological assistant with the California Board of Psychology
- Experience or interest in health psychology, psycho-oncology, women’s mental health, and interdisciplinary healthcare
