McLean Hospital, America’s top ranked freestanding psychiatric hospital, is inviting applications for a Staff Psychologist at McLean Fernside located in Princeton, MA.Fernside offers exceptional residential treatment that provides individuals the tools to achieve and maintain abstinence from drugs and alcohol, reclaim a sense of self-worth, and learn to manage the stresses of an active life. The staff psychologist will conduct clinical psychology with patients using psychosocial techniques to facilitate more flexible and successful adaptation to the demands of psychological development and of the environment (i.e. family, school, community and employment).The position requires clinical psychology knowledge and practice incorporates a variety of models including psychodynamic, biological, supportive, cognitive behavioral, exploratory-interpretive, motivational, or educational. Successful candidates will provide clinical services for assigned patients, as well as participate in the activities of the program.
