**Job Summary**
The Managing Director will serve as the strategic, financial, and operational leader of our organization. This key role will oversee all operational and administrative functions, working closely with the Artistic Director to fulfill our artistic vision and mission.
- Lead the development and implementation of our organizational strategy, working closely with the Artistic Director to fulfill our artistic vision and mission
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, financial stability strategies, and audit oversight
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture, ensuring staff morale and cross-departmental communication are strengthened
- Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies, cultivating strong relationships with donors, artists, and community stakeholders
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrable progressive professional experience in leadership roles and in managing and supervising teams
- Strong financial management and fundraising skills, with a proven track record in community engagement and local arts leadership
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, with a commitment to the principles of inclusion, equity, diversity, and access
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire others and take responsibility for your actions and outcomes
