Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our properties by ensuring a fresh and visually appealing appearance through expert painting and finishing.

Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation:
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
• Apply primers or sealers to prepare surfaces for the final coat.
• Paint Application:
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, or other finishes to various surfaces.
• Ensure proper coverage and quality of workmanship.
• Repair and Maintenance:
• Identify and repair damaged areas on surfaces before applying paint.
• Perform routine maintenance on painting tools and equipment.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect work for consistency and quality, making any necessary touch-ups.
• Ensure that work meets the established standards and specifications.
• Communication:
• Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to coordinate painting projects.
• Communicate effectively with team members and residents when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a professional painter in residential or commercial settings.
• Solid knowledge of painting techniques and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in painting or a related field is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work at heights when necessary.
