Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Property Porter to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and curb appeal of our properties. The ideal candidate will have experience driving a truck and trailer, performing routine exterior property inspections, and ensuring that the property remains in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exterior Property Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain the exterior areas of the property, including sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas.
- Trash and Debris Removal: Ensure all trash and debris are removed from the property, common areas and rental units, including emptying exterior trash receptacles and disposing of waste properly.
- Driving Truck & Trailer: Safely operate and transport equipment, tools, and waste materials using a company-provided truck and trailer.
- Exterior Inspections: Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, or areas needing attention. Report findings to management for corrective action.
- Basic Groundskeeping: Assist with landscaping tasks such as sweeping, power washing, and other minor exterior maintenance duties as needed.
- Snow & Ice Removal: Help maintain safe walkways and parking areas during winter months.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience safely operating a truck and trailer.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high property standards.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Prior experience in property maintenance, landscaping, or a similar role is a plus.
