Ensuring vacated apartments are market ready and available to rent: Apartment turnovers, performs preventative maintenance and relations with associates, contractors, and team members. A minimum of 6 months maintenance experience is required.

As a Maintenance/ Make Ready Technician, you will be responsible for property maintenance: Curb appeal, service requests. Ensuring vacated apartments are market ready and available to rent: Apartment turnovers, performs preventative maintenance and relations with associates, contractors, and team members. Responsibilities:
- Tackle facility maintenance tasks, including HVAC repairs, appliance troubleshooting, and more. EPA Certification is a plus!
- Knowledgeable in plumbing, electrical work, drywall repairs, and painting.
- Receive "make ready" assignments and properly gather all necessary tools, equipment, and supplies needed to make a unit ready.
- Evaluate carpet and vinyl, baseboards, trim, doors and windows and replace / repair as needed.
- Estimate time and extent of repairs in vacant units.
- Perform painting duties.
- Polish and varnish cabinets and other woodwork as needed
- Repair holes in walls and perform painting duties as needed
- Respond to service calls to make less technical repairs or replacements
- Install and finish drywall and paneling as needed.
- Work with all levels of staff on related projects and duties as assigned.
- Maintain work order system, logs, and other records as needed.
- Maintain material and supply inventory.
- Previous experience in maintenance, construction or other related fields like remodeling.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
