Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for our South Phoenix community. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with no on-call or weekend responsibilities, and weekly pay. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of onsite apartment maintenance experience, handling general building maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical work, drywall repair, carpentry, painting, and appliance care). You must have your own set of personal hand tools and reliable transportation to get to and from work every day.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting
• Perform appliance repairs and removal/installation
• Curb appeal for the property grounds & pools
• Complete assigned work orders and maintenance requests on time
• Help maintain the overall appearance and function of the apartment community
• Collaborate with the property management team to address maintenance needs
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and building codes
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of residential maintenance work experience (apartments, hotel, commercial, etc.)
• Own a set of basic hand tools & power drill
• Reliable transportation
• HVAC certification not mandatory, but a plus to have
• Ability to work independently during a Monday-Friday schedule
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• No on-call or weekend work required
