What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Apartment Management Consultants?
This is a great opportunity to work with involved owners and a great manager in the Jackson area. We have over 30 years experience and would love to add another hard working employee to our team.
Responsibilities
- Hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm
- HVAC troubleshooting and repairs
- Plumbing repairs
- Carpentry (repair cabinets, door jams, drywall)
- Complete and help with make readies as needed
- 24 hr on-call service (paid time and a half)
- Work at the direction of our Property Manager and Owners
- Communicate respectfully with Tenants and Property Managers
- Complete work orders properly and in a timely fashion
- Maintain a clean working environment in the shop
- Learn new skills and earn new certifications
- Maintain high work ethic and solve problems
Qualifications
5 years of apartment complex maintenance experience required.
Compensation
Pay is based on experience, skills, certifications.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
