What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager/Leasing Agent position at Apartment Management?
Description
- Hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm in the office
- Turn and lease vacant apartment with quality and speed
- Renew tenant leases
- Collect and apply rent
- Help tenants apply for rental assistance
- Facilitate special projects
- Manage vendors and maintenance staff
- Add work orders into the system and communicate information to tenants
- Approve timecards
- Communicate respectfully with tenants
- Enter vendor and utility invoices
- Maintain a clean working environment in the office
- Maintain high work ethic and solve problems
Must have
- Strong leasing experience with a proven ability to lease apartments to qualified prospects
- Customer service experience in a property management setting
- Strong understanding of property leasing procedures and Fair Housing regulations
- Proficiency in using property management software such as Entrata, Yardi, OneSite, or RealPage
- Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills
- Previous experience in real estate administration and legal administrative tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- Property Management: 5 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
