The day to day
- Welcome prospective tenants and provide engaging property tours.
- Handle leasing activities from start to finish—processing applications, preparing lease agreements, and ensuring smooth move-ins.
- Market available units using social media and online listings to attract top-quality tenants.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, keeping a waitlist for future tenants.
- Collect deposits, first-month rent, and any related fees.
- Act as a key liaison between management, tenants, and the maintenance team to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Oversee move-in and move-out processes, conduct inspections, and ensure seamless unit turnover.
- Keep detailed records of leasing activity and generate reports for property management.
The must-haves
- 2-3 years of leasing or related experience – You know the ins and outs of property leasing.
- Meticulous attention to detail – Success in this role depends on your ability to stay organized and proactive.
- AppFolio or similar property management software experience – Familiarity with leasing tech is a plus!
- Social media savvy – You know how to creatively market properties online.
- Basic knowledge of property management rules & regulations – Training provided!
- Reliable transportation – You’ll be traveling between properties.
- Goal-oriented mindset – You thrive on meeting objectives, deadlines, and bonus incentives.
- Strong people skills – You connect well with tenants, vendors, and team members.
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record – Required.
- Ability to pass a background screening – Criminal and motor vehicle checks required.
Important details
- Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time | Flexibility for Premium Showing Times (Saturdays required)
- Benefits: Full-Time Only - Health Benefits (70% company-paid employee coverage, dependent coverage paid by employee), PTO and Paid Holidays
- Compensation: Competitive $20 hourly base pay rate * commission on BOTH leases & renewals *
- Job Location: Haverhill, MA Office | Not a remote
- Territory: Haverhill, MA, |Salem, MA | Peabody, MA | Georgetown, MA | Potential Southern, NH opportunities.
