What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Contractor – Sales Research & Consumer Insights position at Apartment Therapy Media?

Responsibilities:
- Enable the revenue team to close more direct sales business by creating campaign rationales for all RFP responses and other sales pitches. Use first and third party data to prove that buys on our sites will be strong performers for our prospective partners
- Respond to audience research requests on an ad hoc basis
- Use audience research to develop Apartment Therapy Media's brand narrative in digestible sellable formats across all client-facing touchpoints including RFPs, one sheets, custom meeting decks, and research decks
- Brainstorm and contribute insights to aid in ideation in RFP meetings
- Develop and analyze first party, category-specific reader surveys and related sales materials (decks, one-sheets, etc)
- Work with account managers and brand partners on first and third party post-campaign brand lift surveys
- Provide insights to guide the account managers in the creation of post-campaign performance reports
- Work with the Creative Studio team to make sure the AT Media Insights Hub is up to date with all newly released research materials
- Communicate with revenue departments and the audience growth team, sharing audience behavior best practices and new insights
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in digital media
- Prior quantitative research experience, including survey writing and data analysis
- Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
- Knowledge of SurveyMonkey or similar survey tool
- Comfortable working with Google Business Suite, Google Analytics, Keynote, and Excel; experience working with Comscore, and/or Quantcast a plus
- Detail-oriented in writing, communication, and organization
- Ability to work cross functionally with multiple departments
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
ESTIMATED TIMELINE: April 7 - September 26, 2025
COMMITMENT: $75-$85/hour / 24 hours a week
