We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician for an upscale apartment community in Swedesboro, NJ. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as appliance, plumbing, electrical, and other general maintenance repairs. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.
Responsibilities
- Survey buildings and grounds and keep in pristine condition
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, and appliances.
- Perform manual repairs when necessary
- Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned
Skills
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Reliable and detail orientated
- Good communication skills
- General computer knowledge
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and appliance.
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Valid Driver's License with personal vehicle
- Must have general tools
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma
- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
