Product Assessment and Reliability Centre Limited (PARC)
a subsidiary of Apave Group, is looking for a part-time Financial Controller to join our small, friendly team. Working Monday to Friday with start / finish times to be mutually agreed.
PARC is a leading UK based UKAS accredited test laboratory based in Bideford and established in 2000. We offer environmental testing including vibration / shock, high / low temperature, humidity, thermal shock, corrosion, altitude, ingress protection, impact drop testing in accordance with our 17025 accreditation. We are also accredited to 17065 for product certification.

The Role :
Carry out day-to-day financial management of the business, including purchase and sales ledger.
Proactively chase outstanding payment ensuring monies are paid to terms
Reconcile accounts including month end close and production of the management accounts for review and sign off by MD
Complete VAT returns
Provide information to management to assist with forecasting and budgeting
Profil : candidat
Qualifications and Experience :
Qualified by Experience or AAT Qualification
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
Strong numerical and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Experience using Sage accountancy software (Sage 50)
Flexible attitude and the ability to work successfully in a close team environment
Self-motivated, able to use initiative and prioritise workload
