Job Responsibilities:
- Order, receive, and manage inventory of auto body parts for repairs.
- Source high-quality parts from various vendors at competitive prices.
- Coordinate with technicians and estimators to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Inspect parts upon arrival for accuracy and quality.
- Handle returns, warranties, and vendor negotiations as needed.
- Maintain an organized parts storage area and track inventory levels.
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding parts-related matters.
- Monitor costs and work within budget constraints.
- Use industry software to manage orders and inventory efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Auto Body Parts Manager or in a similar role within the collision repair industry.
- Strong knowledge of auto body parts, OEM vs. aftermarket parts, and insurance procedures.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and estimating systems.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
