Job Description
APC Construction, LLC is hiring an experienced Equipment Operator with pile driving experience to join our heavy civil and industrial construction team. We're looking for dependable and skilled individuals who know how to safely and efficiently operate heavy machinery and assist with pile driving operations on a variety of job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
-Operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, skid steers, and pile driving equipment.
-Assist with pile installation using diesel or vibratory hammers.
-Safely load, unload, and position piles based on layout and design.
-Support crew with rigging and set-up of pile driving systems.
-Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on machinery.
-Follow all safety guidelines and site-specific requirements.
-Work closely with foremen, crane operators, and other team members to complete tasks on schedule.
Qualifications:
-At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting.
-Direct experience working on pile driving crews is highly preferred.
-Familiarity with rigging, load charts, and basic blueprint interpretation.
-Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and job site conditions.
-Ability to travel to different job sites as needed.
-TWIC card, OSHA 10/30, or other certifications are a plus.
