Job Title: Truck Driver - Delivery Associate

APC Delivery Inc. is seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver - Delivery Associate to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely delivering packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
• Operate smartphone applications to document proof of delivery and photo on delivery requirements
• Maintain good work habits, including reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work and safety procedures
• Account for, and adapt to, unexpected situations like weather conditions and traffic
• Keep proper logs of hours on the road and miles driven, following all company, state, and federal regulations
• Complete daily vehicle inspections; ensuring the truck and associated equipment remains in good, working order; report all mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel
• Follow all applicable traffic laws and safety procedures
• Observe and report all defects, accidents, and violations
• Adhere to company guidelines while interacting with customers and serve as brand advocate

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and team lift > 75 lbs
• Must be able to walk, climb stairs, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch repeatedly

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a 7 year criminal background screening and an MVR Check
• Must possess a valid DOT Medical Card
• Must be reliable (variations in schedule/tardiness/absenteeism are NOT allowed)
• 2 years experience in driving commercially - preferred but not mandatory
• Previous assembly experience preferred
