What are the responsibilities and job description for the PHC CLERKs(Coordinators)-experience required(1 Hidalgo County and 1 Cameron County) position at APC HOMEMAKER SERVICE?
Reporting To The PHC Director, PHC Clerk Is Essentially Responsible For:
· Processes all service authorizations in accordance with agency process,
· Ensures Attendants profile is accurate and current,
· Ensure Client profile and service status is maintained current,
· Coordinates the timely initiation of services for the Clients,
· Interviews, screens, and hires Attendants for Client assignments, Contacts Back up Attendants to work in the absence of regular attendant
· Ensures Clients are staffed with Provider of choice or compatible Attendants to work authorized schedule,
· Maintains great communication with Attendant, Client, and Clients family on an ongoing basis,
· Conducts New Employee Orientation according to written policies. Educates and trains Attendants on EVV rules and use of EVV options,
· Coordinates with Attendants to ensure that the Attendants come in to complete their annual education training,
· Makes follow up call to MD office for prompt receipt of 3052-Doctors orders,
· Completes 2067’s for all the payers timely to communicate client’s status and changes in the client’s service plan,
· Prepares visit documentation packets for the Field Supervisor per agency process
· Files all 2067s, Auths, and documentation packets in the clients file,
· Calls for, collects, audits for accuracy timesheets used for AAA and private pay services,
· Reviews and Clients utilization of Respite hours,
· Reviews Variable report weekly to identify and resolve discrepancies,
· Reviews MESAV report twice a month and follow up on any recommendations from Authorization Department,
· Reconciles Payroll Checks and Direct Deposit in accordance with agency process to ensure Attendant is paid correctly,
· Participates in the weekly rotation of on-call to take calls from the answering service,
· And other day to day essential tasks required in the provision and maintenance of Clients service schedules.
Bilingual; proficient in English and Spanish
Some knowledge or experience with EVV and the PHC Program is preferred but not required, Experience with Medius software is also preferred,
Punctual with great attendance record,
Has a positive attitude and great customer service; Must be enthusiastic about helping people.
