You'll play a key role by supporting both the Tigard and Dundee locations, though most of your time will be spent at our Tigard store.
Key Responsibilities:
Sign Spinner Duties:
- Stand Proud and Be Visible: Stand for extended periods while holding or spinning signs to attract attention. Maintain strong visibility to draw in passerby.
- Safety First: Follow all safety guidelines and best practices to ensure both your safety and that of those around you.
- Energetic Display: Use your energy to capture attention, whether through tricks, dance moves, or by engaging with pedestrians with a smile and wave.
- Positive Vibes: Represent the company with a friendly, positive attitude, creating a welcoming and inviting presence.
Budtender Duties:
- Cannabis Knowledge: Stay knowledgeable about cannabis strains, products, consumption methods, and trends to provide valuable insights to customers.
- Store Presentation: Keep the store tidy, safe, and visually appealing to create an inspiring customer environment.
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, answer phone calls, and ensure every customer feels welcomed and respected.
- Compliance: Adhere to state regulations and company policies regarding cannabis sales and handling.
- Sales Transactions: Efficiently use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system for transactions and cash handling, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Documentation & Verification: Verify customer paperwork, IDs, and any required documentation in accordance with OLCC regulations.
- Organizational Tasks: Support consistent store organization, cleanliness, and compliance to uphold a positive work environment.
- Other Duties: Assist the management team with any other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the store.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Reliable transportation to work across Tigard and Dundee locations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of OLCC cannabis laws and regulations.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Cannabis product knowledge and a passion for the industry.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience with cash handling and POS systems is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule:
- Day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and holiday availability required.
