Primary Function

APCOM's facility in Cookeville, Tennessee, manufactures threated tank fittings “spuds”, pipe nipples, gas burner assemblies, and also stamps a wide variety of parts for the water heater and appliance industries. The Cold Form Setup Operator will set-up the cold form in accordance with required work instructions.

Regularly Scheduled Hours:

1st Shift: Monday- Friday; 6:00am- 2:30pm

2nd Shift : Monday - Friday; 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Hourly Rate of Pay: $20.25/hr ($20.25/hr base plus $1.00/hr shift differential for 2nd shift)

Sign On Bonus Opportunity: $1500

• $500 at 90th day of hire, $500 at 180th day of hire, $500 at 365th day of hire
• Must not be on a corrective action for attendance to qualify for bonus payments

Responsibilities

• Machine set-up, production related machine adjustments, tooling changeovers, maintenance of tooling
• Read and understand blueprints
• Comply with all safety, quality, and procedure requirements as noted in the work instructions

Qualifications

• Must pass a Mechanical Aptitude Test, Level 3 or Better
• HS Diploma or GED
• 3 years of related experience preferred
• Must be a self-starter, well-organized, able to work both independently and as a team member, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to stand and walk continuously throughout shift, without sitting down
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
