Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Human Resources Department by managing various administrative and employee-focused tasks and projects. This position works under the direction of the Director of Human Resources and alongside the Human Resources Generalist. The Human Resources Coordinator is essential for ensuring that our employees have the best workplace experience!
Location : The Human Resources Coordinator role is on-site at our Victor, NY offices. Travel between two offices approximately 1 mile apart in Victor, NY is required as needed. Remote work is not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities Include :
- Administer the company’s employee engagement activities & programs. Plan and execute weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual company events and activities.
- Organize and maintain the company’s employee recognition & rewards programs.
- Provide administrative support to the New Hire Onboarding process.
- Plan & Schedule company continuing education opportunities including working with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate community-focused events & activities, such as holiday toy drives and the Chase Corporate Challenge.
- Administer the company’s Volunteer Time Off program. Organize opportunities for employee volunteerism aligned with APD’s values and mission.
- Create an engaging, warm & welcoming environment to greet employees and guests to our office. Ensure Employees and guests have a positive experience and are assisted in a timely manner.
- Support the recruitment and interview process. Assist with recruitment events, career fairs, scheduling interviews and other tasks.
- Support HR and employee communication efforts including development of employee-facing collateral and utilization of Microsoft Teams for internal communication.
- Provides Administrative Support to President and other Partners as needed
- Coordinate employee related office needs including supply requests, maintenance requests and employee food / beverage vending.
