Job Title: Waste Water/ Lab Treatment Operator

Shift: Days, Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm
Job Description:
The Wastewater/Lab Treatment Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining the wastewater treatment system to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards. Will also provide Mechanical Testing of extruded material in accordance with customer requirements and to the Aluminum Standards Association guidelines. This role involves monitoring and analyzing water quality, managing chemical treatment processes, and maintaining accurate records. The technician will also support laboratory testing related to wastewater and environmental samples within the aluminum extrusion production facility.
Duties:
- To be able to operate the tensile testing equipment safely and accurately.
- To provide product conformity guidance and training
- To have a good understanding and the ability to train measuring techniques to adhere to the tolerances set forth by the aluminum standard association.
- To promote the highest quality product, assist in the leadership and support of the Quality Management System
- Understand ISO requirements.
Required Competencies & Knowledge:
Skills
- Can demonstrate good organizational skills and technical capabilities.
- Has good basic math and communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
Qualifications
- A High School Degree or equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of 2-year experience in the Aluminum Extrusion Industry
- Experience in Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
