Your Role
As a Strategic Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs, ensure supplier quality, and enhance operational efficiency. This role involves market analysis, supplier negotiations, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to support business objectives.
Your Responsibilities
- Regularly conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, analyze industry trends, and assess supplier capabilities to find the best options for Aperia's needs.
- Develop criteria for evaluating suppliers, including cost, quality, delivery time, and sustainability, and select the most suitable vendors as needed.
- Negotiate contract terms with suppliers, including price, payment terms, delivery schedules, quality standards, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure the achievement of favorable agreement.
- Continuously analyze procurement costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to reduce expenses.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with sourcing, such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and geopolitical factors to ensure optimization of operational resilience, protect financial interests and sustain long-term growth.
- Regularly facilitate the qualification of new items and suppliers between vendor, quality, engineering and other stakeholders.
