Job Description
At Aperia, we rely on a dynamic team of analysts. We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Technical Business Analyst to join our team!
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in engaging with our business partners, helping refine their requirements and translating them into functional and technical designs. You will collaborate with a cross functional team of business associates, software developers, and other technical experts to ensure the successful execution and optimization of solutions addressing business needs and adhering to technical policies.
Responsibilities:
- Understand business processes and operations driving system solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts and business SMEs facilitating the definition and refinement of a robust set of business requirements.
- Facilitate communication across stakeholders.
- Author functional and technical design documents.
- Conduct design review sessions with business partners and technical team.
- As part of the team, you will help implement and test technology solutions ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and with quality.
- Act as a SME on application capabilities and functional design.
- Respond to business inquiries.
- Help troubleshoot technical issues.
- Recommend changes to optimize business processes and technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to industry and organizational security standards.
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience in a business systems or technical analyst role, delivering complex technology solutions, preferably in a Financial Services or Payment Industry environment
- Experience working with multi-functional, globally distributed teams
- Jira experience is preferred
- Knowledge of SQL including data types, DDL, joins, views and basic stored procedures
- Knowledge of system performance evaluation techniques and optimization strategies
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration between technical and non-technical team members
- Proven experience in system analysis, design, and implementation
- Possess a strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving abilities to identify issues within business operations, processes, and strategies, and propose effective solutions
- Understanding of security standards and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Continuous learning mindset with a focus on staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
