Job Description : We are seeking a software engineer to support Cyber Security Defensive Operations by configuring a Cyber Range with hundreds to thousands of VMs using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, Ansible, VMWare, and other automation technologies. You will work closely with Hunt, Red, and Blue Team operators to support training, force-on-force exercises, and mimic customer infrastructures. You will collaborate with Software Engineers, System Administrators, Network Engineers, and Systems Engineers to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Configure and manage a Cyber Range with hundreds to thousands of VMs using IaC, Terraform, Ansible, VMWare, and other automation technologies.
- Collaborate with Hunt, Red, and Blue Team operators to implement their desired configurations.
- Support training, force-on-force exercises, and mimic customer infrastructures.
- Work with a team to develop innovative solutions.
- Provide direct mission support for the Cyber Security Directorate's Defensive Network Operations organization when not working on the Cyber Range.
