Host/Hostess

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. You will manage our seatings, greet customers, and facilitate a smooth dining experience while maintaining a positive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using paper and pencil
• Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host & FOH area.
• Must commicate withh msnagrment
• Assist in answering phone calls with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations, and providing information about the menu.
• Help create a welcoming environment that enhances the overall guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Professional attire, with perfect hygiene standards
• A friendly demeanor and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
