About the Role: We’re excited to invite a dynamic, experienced Assistant Community Manager to our growing team in Pittsburg, CA. This role isn’t just about managing day-to-day operations, it’s about creating a supportive and welcoming community for senior residents, optimizing operations, and collaborating to achieve excellence. What You’ll Do:
- Guide prospective residents through the application, screening, and move-in process, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported from day one.
- Coordinate with trusted contractors by defining project scopes, obtaining bids, and managing work orders to maintain and enhance the property.
- Oversee rent collection, deposit preparation, and maintain accurate records using Yardi property management software.
- Foster a positive and respectful community environment by engaging with residents and consistently enforcing policies with empathy.
- Take an energetic and solution-focused approach to leasing at a newly constructed Senior Community, supporting successful lease-ups and move-ins.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of property management experience, ideally with 200 units and LIHTC (tax credit) properties
- 2 years of compliance experience working with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs
- Proficiency with Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- A proactive, solutions-oriented team player
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
