This person needs DOT experience (ideally FL specific). The person will be handling the catwalks for I drive, and ideally they’ll have experience with contract administration and the eminent domain process.

Summary
The selected Engineer will perform project management and professional engineering work. Work is performed with considerable independence under the general supervision of the designated supervisor.
Job Description:
- Assists with contract administration for Capital Improvement Projects for major highway improvement projects, bridges, paving, sidewalks, etc., to include preparation of scope of work, consultant selection, contract negotiations, engineering design and construction plan review, preparation of cost estimates, public involvement and preparation of bid documents.
- Assists with coordination of right-of-way acquisition for roadway and other projects; provide right-of-way engineering support throughout roadway planning, roadway design, land acquisition and eminent domain process.
- Administer cost-to-cure engineering contracts to support appraisal function. Assist in developing costs estimates for right-of-way acquisitions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- One (1) years of civil engineering and roadway design experience.
