Oracle Database Developer
Location: 100% Remote
To be successful in this role, the following is Essential Knowledge:
- Red hat Linux 7.9 or 8
- Experience with applying STIGs to the Oracle Database 19c environment.
- Experience with applying Transparent database encryption (TDE) configuration to the database.
- Experience with applying FIPS 140-2 or FIPS 140-3 data-in-transit encryption to the Oracle database 19c environment.
- Backup and recovery processes and technologies using Oracle RMAN.
- Experience with applying quarterly Oracle RU and OJVM patches to the database environment.
- Experience installing, configuring and maintaining Oracle Database 19c.
- Experience installing, configuring and maintaining Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13.5 (OEM 13c).
- Experience with using OEM to troubleshoot database performance tuning and to monitor the database environment.
- Broad technical knowledge of client/server and web-based environments.
- Some level of shell-script is helpful.
- Some experience with applying 2FA to the Oracle database developers and DBA's accounts is helpful.
Essential Skills:
- 7 years' experience of working as an Oracle DBA.
- Writing skills.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a team environment.
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
