The Training and Development Specialist - Senior position has the following job description and requirements:
Job Description:
- Revise and update the 10-hour Individual Training Support Package (ITSP) three times per year.
- Ensure course content includes:
- Road to war scenarios.
- Threat order of battle.
- Friendly task organization.
- Critical events, doctrinal primers, and historical vignettes.
- Facilitator notes, including structured questions and answers.
- Aggregate course content into student materials, facilitator guides, and preparatory materials.
- Provide administrative support for communications, IPRs, rehearsals, and execution of the ASEP-C course.
- Develop and manage presentations, ensuring alignment with Army University (ArmyU) and TRADOC standards.
- Conduct Critical Task Site Selection Board (CTSSB) to identify key C2IC individual tasks for inclusion in the Command and Control Functional Training Course (5C Course).
- Develop training support materials, including:
- Lesson plans (LPs) and Terminal Learning Objectives (TLOs).
- Training and Administrative Support (TRAS) Program of Instruction (POI).
- Course administrative data (CAD) within the Training Development Capability (TDC) system.
- Align course content with TRADOC TP 350-70-14 standards.
- Follow ADDIE instructional design methodology, ensuring Army regulations, doctrine, and training standards are fully met.
- Coordinate monthly production meetings to prioritize workload and meet Army training objectives.
Requirements:
- Education/Certifications:
- BA/BS Branch Qualified.
- Military Education Level (MEL) 4 or equivalent NCO.
- Experience:
- Prior military primary staff experience in combined arms formations at the division or higher level.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the ADDIE process and familiarity with individual and collective training product development.
- Familiarity with TR 350-70, Army Learning Policy and Systems, and supporting TRADOC administrative publications.
- Experience in using TDC to review, revise, and create POIs and LPs.
- SECRET Clearance.
This position requires a combination of military experience, educational qualifications, and specific knowledge of Army training and development processes to ensure effective curriculum development and compliance with Army standards.
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
