Junior Graphic Designer & Marketing Support (Cannabis)

POSITION OVERVIEW

Upstate Elevator Supply Co. is Vermont’s leading brand of cannabis-infused edibles and beverages. Family-owned and operated, the Burlington-based company is distributed in retailers nationwide. Since its founding in 2017, Upstate Elevator’s passion has been revitalizing the connection between humans and plants and making the world feel good by creating the finest fleet of cannabis products available anywhere.

We are seeking a Junior Graphic Designer & Marketing Support to assist with visual content creation, marketing campaign execution, and digital asset management for our family of brands. This individual is highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented, with a strong passion for design, branding, and digital marketing.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Graphic Design & Content Creation:

• Assist in designing digital and print assets, including social media graphics, email marketing campaigns, digital ads, and promotional materials.
• Support the development and design of packaging, advertisements, and in-store displays.
• Assist in creating engaging assets for events, activations, and promotions including signage, merch, and giveaways.
• Assist in updating website graphics and digital content.
• Capture and edit product and lifestyle photography for use in marketing campaigns.
• Work with the marketing team to ensure landing pages and digital assets align with campaign goals.
• Help optimize visual content for web and social media performance.
• Edit and organize digital assets for internal and external use.
• Experience working within and implementing brand guidelines; creating consistent on-brand creative.

Marketing Support & Campaign Execution:

• Assist in the scheduling and execution of email marketing campaigns.
• Support social media content planning and coordination.
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
• Support influencer and brand ambassador initiatives with visual content.
• Provide general marketing support as needed across campaigns and projects.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, marketing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Photography and photo editing skills.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo and HubSpot is a plus.
• A keen eye for design, typography, and visual storytelling.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet deadlines.
• A passion for branding, marketing, and creative problem-solving.
• Ability to support occasional evening and weekend events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
