Position: Automotive Damage Appraiser
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Damage Appraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires teamwork and collaboration with co-workers, vendors, insurance companies, and other businesses to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
The appraiser will perform thorough appraisals of damaged vehicles to create a full repair plan. They will ensure all repair estimates follow proper procedures to restore vehicle safety and pre-loss condition. The role involves working closely with insurance adjusters, appraisers, and team members to facilitate smooth repair processes. Maintaining strong business relationships with partners, vendors, and insurance companies is essential. The appraiser will also assist with repair planning from start to finish to maintain workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
A Massachusetts Auto Damage Appraiser License is required. Candidates must have proficiency in CCC ONE estimating system and a minimum of one year of experience in the collision industry writing estimates and supplements. Strong leadership and communication skills are necessary, as teamwork is key. DRP experience is preferred but not required. ICAR certification is a plus but not mandatory. Bilingual candidates are also a plus. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Compensation
Salary is based on experience, skill level, and industry knowledge. Candidates with extensive experience in estimating, DRP programs, and supplement writing may qualify for higher compensation. Pay will be discussed during the interview process and will be competitive within the industry.
