General Job Description:
Apex Bank is expanding its Operations Department in Knoxville and is looking for a team member to grow with us.
You will be responsible for overseeing tasks assigned to the Deposit Operations\Digital Banking department with focus on ACH, Wires, Debit Cards and other digital products. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to help grow and implement our Digital Banking products and services.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will be to assist in and oversee the following:
- Online Banking, Bill Pay and Mobile Deposit Registrations
- Functions related to receipt of ACH transactions, included but not limited to; receiving and uploading files, reviewing DNE Reports, processing returns
- Review and process Mobile Deposits
- Wire Transfers
- Debit Card Disputes responding to each phase of the dispute Verifin Fraud Reports
- Assist Branch personnel via emails, phone calls and Help Desk tickets.
- Review and update procedures as gaps are identified
- Help identify, communicate, and drive changes to the program such as product updates, service enhancements, or process improvements as appropriate.
- Display a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness and professionalism at all times.
- Cultivate professional relationships with customers and team members, listening carefully to their needs and displaying empathy to provide the best service possible.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deposit operations experience 5 years (Required)
- Excellent knowledge of general state and federal banking regulations including bank policy and procedures
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks and prioritize during the course of a business day
- ACH Accredited Professional (AAP) Preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
