IT ADMINISTRATOR
Job Description:
You will work with as part of the IT team to install and maintain software, hardware, and other digital tools used by the bank.
You may also be responsible for monitoring the performance of various computer systems within the bank. This includes ensuring that all hardware is functioning properly, identifying any potential security threats, and resolving any issues that arise as quickly as possible.
Job Duties can include:
1. First point of contact for IT helpdesk requests
2. Monitoring network performance to ensure that there are no bottlenecks or errors that could impact productivity
3. Installing operating systems on computers, testing them for errors, and backing them up regularly
4. Configuring and managing firewalls
5. Maintaining computer equipment by replacing or upgrading components as needed
6. Installing patches to fix security vulnerabilities in computer systems
7. Configuring new systems for installation based on new hire requests, etc.
8. Installing and maintaining computer networks, including printers and other peripherals
9. Troubleshooting problems with existing systems and implementing solutions to fix them
10. Monitoring server performance and capacity to ensure that it meets needs
11. Document and update installation, configuration, deployment and maintenance procedures
12. Provide after-hours on-call emergency support as needed
13. Adhere to standardized workflow and processes
14. Participate in special projects as assigned
Requirements:
1. 2-3 years of technical support experience
2. Live in West or Middle TN or surrounding areas
3. Possess a valid Driver License
4. Possess at a minimum A and/or Network and willing to work on additional certs in the future for Security , MCITP, and/or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certifications
5. Willing to travel to bank’s retail sites on occasion
6. Familiar with a range of software and hardware
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills
