Apex Bank is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Operations Specialist to join our Operations team.
Job Summary: The Treasury Operations Specialist will be responsible for the fulfillment of four basic components of Treasury Management (TM) and Commercial Account operational support; implementation, training, customer service and cross-selling TM services. This specialist works closely with internal and external customers to provide exceptional support, ensure needs are met, coordinate all aspects of the support process and deliver excellent customer experiences. Displays a working knowledge of all TM products/services and understands how they integrate with our customers as well as the entire Bank. You will also train operations staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes to enhance the customer experience
Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as a subject-matter expert and assist the Business Banking team in special projects, upgrades, enhancements, and any other changes related to Treasury Management systems and other Online Banking options.
- Implement and set up TM services (e.g., ACH, Business Online Banking, Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), and Wire Transfers).
- Perform customer maintenance, ensuring all documentation is completed, scanned appropriately, and placed in the customer file folder according to procedures.
- Daily monitor Business Online Banking enrollment forms, Bill Pay enrollments, and Positive Pay exceptions.
- Process service termination requests.
- Assist with maintaining training materials regarding new Treasury Services products and services and updates to policies and procedures.
- Review and modify processes and procedures routinely to ensure compliance and improve efficiency.
· Relationship Building – Ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners via the phone.
· Cross-train to perform other functions and duties assigned by Management
· Recommend any process changes to improve efficiencies and enhance customer service experiences.
· Stay current on TM policies, procedures, product knowledge, and industry advancements
· Assist with special projects and system upgrades or strategic initiatives as required.
Qualifications
· Associates degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
· 3 years of experience in banking
· AAP or CTP a plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ACH, Remote Deposit Capture, Online Banking, set up and support
- Strong understanding of Bank’s products and services
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and provide guidance for working groups
- High level of precision with attention to detail and consistency
