Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Experience

• Motivate and lead a team to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create an engaging shopping atmosphere.
• Train staff on product knowledge across all Apex Board & Ride Co. categories: clothing, footwear, skateboards, snowboards, surfboards, SUPs, bicycles, e-bikes, and scooters.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and customer preferences.

Marketing & Community Engagement

• Support local marketing efforts and brand activations.
• Organize events and partnerships to connect with the local board sports community.
• Execute corporate promotional campaigns, loyalty programs, and seasonal events.

Operational Leadership

• Oversee day-to-day store functions in alignment with Apex Board & Ride Co.'s standards.
• Implement corporate policies, merchandising strategies, and inventory management practices.
• Utilize POS systems, inventory tracking, and reporting tools for smooth store operations.

Team Development & Management

• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
• Implement performance reviews, coaching, and professional development plans.
• Foster a positive team culture that reflects Apex Board & Ride Co.’s brand values.

Inventory & Merchandising

• Manage stock levels across product categories to optimize inventory.
• Coordinate with suppliers and corporate teams to maintain efficient inventory flow.
• Execute merchandising strategies that enhance the in-store shopping experience.

Who We’re Looking For:

-We’re seeking franchisees with the leadership skills and business acumen to drive success.

-5 or more years of retail management experience in board sports, outdoor lifestyle, or specialty retail. Multi-unit owners, managers, or district managers are highly desired.

-Experience with brands like Volcom, Quiksilver, Billabong, Vans, Nike, Hurley, Rip Curl, Santa Cruz, Element, Skateboards, Surfboards, Snowboards, or similar action sports retailers is preferred.

-Strong sales, leadership, and team management experience.

-Passion for board sports and outdoor activities.

-Problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

-Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.

-An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to operate a franchise with established brands.
