Position Summary :

Seeking a motivated Civil / Environmental Engineer to join our Punta Gorda, FL office. In this role, you will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to support a variety of municipal and environmental projects, including water / wastewater systems, site development, stormwater management, and more. This is an excellent opportunity to build foundational skills, gain hands-on project experience, and grow within a supportive engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Support : Assist senior engineers and project managers in the planning, design, permitting, and documentation of municipal infrastructure projects.
• Design & Drafting : Develop preliminary plans, calculations, and technical drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
• Data Collection & Analysis : Perform field investigations, review reports and drawings, and assist in analyzing data to inform engineering solutions.
• Regulatory Compliance : Help ensure designs and deliverables meet local, state, and federal regulations.
• Communication & Collaboration : Work closely with internal staff, clients, and external stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing technical inquiries.
• Continuous Learning : Pursue professional development opportunities, stay current with industry best practices, and obtain professional licensure.
