We're hiring a Construction Technician 3 in Somerset, PA (15501) to play a key role in providing concrete and soil testing, involving field labor, and operating testing equipment to service our clients' industrial and commercial construction projects. This position is a driving force behind our team's success. If you have prior experience in Construction/Landscaping, as a Maintenance Technician, or General Laborer, or if you just enjoy working outdoors, we want to hear from you!
Your Responsibilities as a Construction Technician 3:
- Perform field labor with the ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Operate hand-held and heavy construction equipment.
- Apply construction techniques.
- Learn regulations and compliance techniques.
- Document field observations.
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractor activity.
- Achieve related industry certification.
- Account for project materials and equipment.
- Ensure safe work practices on all project work.
- Actively develop your own career path.

What we're looking for:
- GED or High School Diploma.
- OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
- 3-5 years of construction experience.
- Ability to work independently and provide subcontractor oversight.
- Experience with operation of heavy construction equipment (e.g. skid loader, backhoe, excavator), hand tools.
- Able to perform manual labor.
- Ability to lift 60lbs
- Hazardous Waste/Material
- Landscaping/Construction
- Work in confined spaces
- Work in inclement weather
- Knowledge of sediment and erosion control.
- General carpentry and plumbing experience is helpful.
- Comfortable using pickups/equipment trailers.
- Good driving record.
