Your Responsibilities as a Scientist 2:
- Collect soil, water, and/or air, samples utilizing different sampling techniques
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
- Assist with due diligence (ASTM Phase I) projects
- Write technical reports and proposals associated with the Connecticut Remediation Standard Regulations (RSRs) and Property Transfer Program.
- Actively develop your own career growth.
- Work directly with staff and management-level team members with field and reporting responsibilities.

What we're looking for:
- BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or other related field.
- 3 years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection.
- Strong technical writing skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
- 40% fieldwork on average.
- Light construction experience/hands-on skills a plus.
- Experience with data management and report preparation.
- Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Open to candidates in Hartford Metro area.
