Position Summary: We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Denver, CO. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, efficiently organizing warehouse space, and assisting other departments as needed to ensure smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently (various makes and models).
- Load and unload trucks and trailers, both manually and using equipment.
- Pull and prepare orders, ensuring materials are properly palletized or banded for transport.
- Help with inventory, ensuring accurate tracking of stock and materials.
- Perform routine warehouse maintenance, including cleaning, light repairs, and upkeep of company equipment.
- Ensure warehouse safety by maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Communicate with sales and management teams regarding inventory and customer needs.
- Assist in receiving and inspecting inbound materials for accuracy and quality.
- Support other warehouse departments as needed to meet company goals.
- Observe and promote safe work practices and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and dust.
- Stand and walk for extended periods, up to a full 8-hour shift.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally handle heavier materials.
- Climb ladders, kneel, bend, and maneuver in tight spaces as needed.
- Frequent use of hands and arms to operate machinery and handle materials.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous warehouse experience, inventory management, or related field preferred.
- Forklift operation experience with a variety of models preferred.
- Ability to maintain organization in a fast-moving warehouse environment.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record required.
- Must pass a drug test and background check required.
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots, hard hats, and safety shields.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- A teachable and growth-oriented mindset.
- Bilingual candidates are a plus.
