We are currently seeking a Site Superintendent to join our team. This role is critical to overseeing on-site activities, ensuring project schedules are met, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. We strongly prefer candidates who are local to the area, as they will bring valuable regional insights and flexibility to our projects.

Position Overview

The Site Superintendent will manage all on-site construction activities, supervise field staff, and ensure compliance with federal project specifications and safety protocols. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and Apex Constructors’ project management team.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Site Management: Oversee daily operations on the job site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task delegation.
• Quality Control: Ensure construction quality meets company and federal standards; monitor progress and identify any issues.
• Safety Oversight: Enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure job site, proactively addressing potential hazards.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project plans and timelines.
• Subcontractor Management: Supervise subcontractors and ensure that work adheres to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records, daily logs, and project reports to facilitate project transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of [X years] of experience as a site superintendent or similar role, preferably in federal or commercial construction.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or vocational training in construction management or a related field is a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and federal compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software.
• Ability to handle on-site challenges and adjust plans as needed.
• Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
