What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Lab Quality Control Technician position at APEX DENTAL LABORATORY GROUP LLC?
The Quality Assurance Technician ensures quality standards are met at various quality checkpoints throughout the manufacturing process. The QA technician is required to be a “Champion” of Triad Dental Studio’s management positions and methodologies, providing constant support and positive influence and reinforcement to all team members. This is a Full-Time position.
Essential Functions:
Conduct Quality Control as per Triad’s written quality standards.
Document internal remakes/reworks
Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are maintained
Communicate with clients regarding material selection and/or general issues that arise Record client communication via updated work ticket, etc.
Brief management as to positive or negative client feedback.
Update client preferences as required
Accept or Return completed items
Return defective items for repair. (Fix minor problems unless it is a repetitive problem which should be addressed with Team Leader and/or Technician)
Coordinate with Customer Service regarding updating clients on specific cases for adjust opposing, reduction coping, need new impression, etc.
Ensure work tickets and invoices are correct
Review and Update QC procedures
Conduct random QC checks on processes, materials and equipment throughout production.
Understand departmental production schedules are based off demand and due dates.
Salary Commensurate with Skillset and Experience.
Certified Dental Technician Preferred
